Loose Leash Walking - An essential skill for any dog owner
Does your dog pull you down the street? Have you tried every harness and every other tool off the internet? Unfortunately far too many dog owners have been misled into thinking that a tool can fix their dog's walk, no-pull harnesses, or front clip harnesses, do nothing to teach your dog to walk nicely. Do you know why? Because loose leash walking is a skill that we need to teach our dogs rather than rely on any tool to do it for us. This is where we start our "Walk With Me" program. We start from the basics, establish communication and learn how to make the walk more enjoyable.
We take a hybrid approach knowing a professional dog trainer can get to your goals a lot quicker. We have one session built into the program where we teach essential skills to your dog first and then have a handover to you so you can learn the ropes after the dog has learnt the same skills.
Structure
- Spread over three, 60 min sessions in quick succession, we teach you how to teach your dog a great loose leash walk
- Includes one session with our trainer working directly with your dog, and a handover to you to achieve a more efficient learning experience for your dog
